Dr. Ankur Shah is a Board Certified Chiropractor who is motivated and passionate about helping his patients optimize their health from within. Dr. Shah believes everyone has the innate ability to heal themselves.
Dr. Shah is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC). Prior, he attended the University of Illinois- Chicago and the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater where he received a degree in Biology. Additionally, Dr. Shah has completed an edX certification, specializing in electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) that help diagnose radiculopathies, disc herniations, etc.
During his time at Palmer, Dr. Shah was an active member in the Delta Sigma Chi Fraternity, where he had the opportunity to further develop his chiropractic skills. While in the fraternity, Dr. Shah was able to learn from the leaders in chiropractic, further apply new chiropractic adjusting techniques, and volunteer in the Davenport community. He served as a teaching assistant where he assisted students in learning a variety of techniques used for adjusting the spine. Throughout his program, Dr. Shah developed skills in a variety of adjusting techniques that will benefit patients of all ages. He is passionate about providing patient-centered care and helping them reach their goals.
Dr. Shah has been embracing chiropractic care his entire life. He is a second generation Chiropractor and son of Dr. Chirag Shah at Advance Health & Wellness. He was a varsity and collegiate athlete in baseball and competed at both the Division I and III level as a pitcher. Dr. Shah experienced the direct benefit from receiving consistent chiropractic care, which allowed him to compete at a high level and experience minimal injury. In his free time, Dr. Shah is an avid golfer and enjoys following a variety of sports. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
